YOUR MIND AS
YOUR DOCTOR
An Interview with Internationally-Known Healer Sharon Forrest
Printed from Uptown Express Dated April 1991
Forrest's dream is to open a holistic hospital,
something she hopes to accomplish within the next two years. The
facility will integrate traditional medicine with alternative
therapies. Despite resistance from much of the established
medical community, there is a significant segment of medical
professionals who are keenly interested in Forrest's work. Last
September she gave a conference in Chicago, and most of the 460
in attendance were doctors, nurses, psychologists, and
psychiatrist. Heads of psychiatric
hospitals and medical professionals from all specialties have
attended her center, workshops and conferences.
Forrest is a pioneer in the field of
psychoneuroimmunology. Psychocellular Communication Therapy and
the uses of clinical hypnotherapy for reversing chronic and
degenerative diseases. Her case histories are absolutely
amazing. She is presently
researching the uses of regression therapy, womb experiences and
past-live therapy for finding and reversing the underlying
cause of patterns, illness or emotional problem. Using these
modalities she has assisted people to totally heal supposedly
non curable diseases such as lupus, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, MS,
cancer, etc.
Now an international figure, booked for lectures
and workshops through 1993, Sharon Forrest says that only seven
and a half years ago she was so shy she could not got into a
restaurants alone, could not even muster the courage to ask a
gas station attendant for a key to the restroom. Her turnaround
came when she dug into her past and healed the wounds of
childhood. People don't need to stay stuck in the PLOM disease.
(Poor Little Old Me) They can break out and move on into happier
healthier, more productive lives.
"I can actually say I am thankful for my
childhood, because everything I went through has actually helped
me to understand and to be able to help a large number of
people. I just know what is they are feeling and know what they
have experienced because I have been through it. Having been
able to help myself go beyond it, now I can use that as a tool
to empower others to heal and go beyond whatever happened to
them."
Forrest states: "In the history of mankind there
has never been a disease that someone, somehow, somewhere has
not totally healed. The answer to a lasting cure and healing is
to treat the whole person not just the symptom. We need
spiritual psychology and complimentary medicine to walk hand in
hand with traditional medicine fro true healing, not only
manifest, but last." |
